Guide to Choosing a Kennel or Cattery

Just like a blind date - you are never sure what to expect at new kennels or cattery so perhaps your first check should be with friends and other pet owners, local vets or pet shops.  Get their recommendations.

You should always visit any boarding establishment before entrusting them with your best friends.  If you are not allowed free access to see inside the kennels or cattery be very wary.

There are many obvious things to check out - we have put together our list that you may wish to use on visits.  Facts about our kennels and cattery are included but where an answer is subjective we leave you to judge when you come and see us - but trust your instincts - if you are not sure it is right, go elsewhere.

With a little research and leg work your pet should have a safe and stress free holiday at a caring, well run boarding establishment.
